This is a handy type system. Excite the measurement target object with the impulse hammer and use the accelerometer to measure the induced vibrations. Supply data about the excitation force and the resulting vibrations to the FFT analyzer RIONOTE for analysis.
Using an accelerometer and single-channel FFT analyzer, the attenuation waveform of the vibration after excitation is measured and the one-degree-of-freedom damping ratio is determined from the result.
